NaturesBrush SageBrush is our original and flagship (torch) product. Each brush is individually created by hand, from the tying of the white sage, to hand embossing designs on the pewter, stringing the beads, and finishing with hemp touches.

White Sage
Sage is a wonderful healing plant for the Earth. It is most commonly used as a smudge and helps to transform energy that may not be working for the highest good.

Smudging Ceremony
Light the sage, and as it smolders, begin by cleansing your own energy field. Waft the smoke towards your heart, then over your head, down the front of you, repeating for the back of your body. Next, offer the smoke to the specific area needing cleansing or any tools you will be using, etc. Thank the sage for its assistance, and carefully snuff out the remaining embers.

The leaves are rich, full of life, and produce the essential pungent odor of white sage; a marvelous incense (smudging) scent that fills the air, purifies, and assists in removing any negative energy...it simply creates purified, earthly energy, and fills the optimistic light of the earth. On the wheel of the Native Americans sagebrush is used for cleansing of ceremonies through smudging, not only in earth ceremonies, but in other religions such as the incensing of the Orient to the frankincensing of the Catholic church. Smudging uses the smoke from burning herbs to cleans the energy field of a person, place or things. Smoke is an etheric substance that penetrates between the realms of creation and form the dense into the more subtle . The herbs most often used fore smudging are the plants of the Spirit Keepers: sweet grasss of the North; tobacco of the East; sagebrush of the South; and cedar of the West. Sweet grass calls in the positive energies, tobacco absorbs either positive or negative, sagebrush drives out negativity, and cedar cleanses.
